Corporate Social Responsibility

Grateful Gatherings collects household items for families transitioning from homelessness to living independently. We saw ads on Next Door and when Marsha Roberts contacted us for an area rug donation we felt compelled to say yes! We have donated to more than 4 gatherings and love the photos they send us of before and after.

The Living Room is a safe haven for women and children in Sonoma County. We were asked by a board member to help with some flooring needs and have helped with area rugs, vinyl floors, and more.

Homeward Bound of Marin is an amazing organization who has helped a former City Carpets employee get back on his feet as a result of addiction and subsequent loss of housing. We provided all the area rugs for Oma Village, 14 new rentals transitioning families from homelessness to independence.

Gilead House helps homeless single moms get back on their feet. We were asked by a community member to assist with new carpeting for the Gilead House, we donated all the carpet and provided labor to install.

We love pets almost more than humans, and when we decided to do a pet adoption in Marin, we partnered with the Milo Foundation, where we adopted our 130 lb Great Pyrenees as well as a Calico kitty. When we did our 1st adoption in Sonoma County we chose Rohnert Park Animal Shelter, they were located nearby and had just suffered a break in where thieves stole all their computer equipment.

One of the organizations that has touched us the most, so proud to be a part of the Carpet One co-op who has not only raised money for this organization but who has installed the flooring in all the smart homes. Ever since 9/11 I felt the need to give back & honor the people who sacrificed their lives while trying to save others. The Tunnel to Towers & Stephen Siller Foundation allow me to do just that! In honor of fireman Stephen Siller, they build smart homes for our wounded veterans.
